Lasya R.K. is an up-and-coming realism artist based in the state of Georgia. She has been painting her whole life but has begun selling and displaying her art openly since May 2021. Lasya sells paintings and prints throughout the United States. She has shipped prints and original paintings to various states across the US including Texas, California, and Maryland in her first year opening business. Lasya is multi-talented. She believes art enhances her ability to learn in other areas of life which in turn fuel her artistic creativity. She grew up dancing in her mother's non-profit dance school and learned singing from her grandmother. She has also written several poems throughout her life. She loves to bring aspects of music, dance, and writing to her artworks by creating videos of the painting process that include background music, painting dance scenes, and adding poetry to the descriptions of her art. Lasya paints in both oils and acrylics and creates primarily realism art, though she enjoys experimenting in other styles. She is inclined to paint psychological and religious concepts that speak to her as well as landscape, floral, and scenic settings that inspire her.
